Kunnunarra to lake argyle

The trip back from kalumbru saw us arriving just on tea time ..a meal ..chat and bed ..Ian was still not well so it was doctors for him the following morning whilst  I tried to get some of the dust out of the car ...ian was at the hospital for about 6 hours ..in the meantime i got the tyre replaced  so it was ready to go ...we planned to go down to lake arglye on the sunday we were heading off to the bungles on monday ...We spent friday and saturday cleaning our friends michael and nola were heading for the  Cairns saturday for the NT variety bash  so friday night  we enjoyed a feed of fish ( mackrel that Ian caught ) and a chatfest the next morning we said our goodbyes  went to the Pumphouse for breakfast

she wrote quite a few novels "kings in grass castles" may be her best known work they have done a lot of work since we visited last
the coloured slate is only found in this part of the country and is very effective ...unfortunately the cain toad has also found it's way to the kimberly....they have toad bins where you can put them  didn't get this one ...too quick !
