well in was off the nullabor and into ceduna for a rest  and to test the whiting theory ...

Ceduna ...famous for .. ken kavanagh.. a guy i used to work with !! na all of the above too

nice little spot although quite windy went fishing..bites but no fish ....so off to the fishshop

We enjoyed the break after a few long days of driving..but it was time to leave julie had her mindset on clare so that's where we went but beforehand jobs to do

good night in the bush camp about 100klm from port augusta ...sailed on through and up over horrocks pass down to melrose for morning tea and then an easy drive to clare had a drive around and went for tea at the pub

The Nullabor...........

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the nullabor....you just have to love it an iconic road trip across the bottom of australia

everchanging  off from Esperance up to Norseman for the start ..first day about 500 klm  bush camp that night under the stars

 a common sight for the next three days

well it was a good camp  julie was quite happy !!

this stretch of road goes for 146klm dead straight....no bends !! put it on auto and away you go!!

we are off to Eucla next another 500 klm ....got there ok stayed at the caravan park $20 powered site no water ....$1.00 for a shower...it was 38 degrees..so small price to pay put the air con on ...mother is happy ....no dramas !!

the next part of the trip was to Ceduna about 500 klm where we are going to spend a few days

a couple of stops along the way diesel around $1.90-$2.01..a litre  but what can you do !

during this next part we will go to nullabor then the head of the bight ..and see some whales

fascinating watching mum and calf play come into the bay to rest must have been five mums and their calfs in while we were there  ...........loved it

well it's not all you see as you walk along the paths

cute little fella but angry when you touch him .....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

they are everywhere on the road ..must be an initation to walk across the highway ...quite a few flat ones.................

it was time to head off again to ceduna ( the whiting capital ) a fish good eating

the wide load we were behind was a tray and wheels of a mine dump truck you can see just how wide he is ..evenually he pulls to the right and we pass him on the left...car in front of me did not know what to do ..no 2 way...enventually woke up ..further down the track we come across another load coming the other way it was 6metres  across as well..I don't know what they were going to do !!
